The Texas Cotton Association PRESIDENT, BRADY RAINDL, Cotton Trader of ECOM USA, Inc., Lubbock, Texas, announces the  ANNUAL FLOW MEETING, to be held at the Overton Hotel & Conference Center on September 10 & 11, 2024! Since 1973, this association has met in Lubbock to bring supply chain partners together with cotton shippers prior to the harvest of cotton, to discuss mitigating factors relating to disruptions in the timely and efficient movement of our TEXAS COTTON to market! We invite YOU to have a seat at the table

GOLFERS! You will want to come in early! Our agenda includes "TEEING OFF FOR COTTON" event, hosted by TIGA, Lubbock Cotton Exchange & TCA, on September 9, at the Rawls Course at Texas Tech, 3720 4th St, Lubbock, TX 79415, 806.742.4653. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., with a 1:00 p.m., shotgun! The fee is $150/per golfer and includes green fees, cart and lunch. On the evening of September 10, at the Overton Hotel in Sunset Ballroom (AB) on the lower level of the hotel on the west side of the building, we will come together in a social setting to reunite and meet old and new supply chain partners at the COTTON FLOW RECEPTION! Connect at this can't miss social and business networking opportunity! 

The next morning, September 11, we will meet the annual FLOW MEETING, the most diversely attended COTTON FLOW SIGNATURE SYMPOSIUM in the industry - - featuring merchants, producer and ginner groups, warehousemen, trucks, ocean carriers, railroads, and ports from all over the nation! A breakfast meeting will be held in Sunset Ballroom (AB), featuring speakers addressing issues pertinent to cotton flow and crop progress. We expect to adjourn by noon. This event is open to all cotton segments and supply chain management professionals - shippers, warehouses, trucks, railroads, ocean carriers, ports, inspectors, bankers, academia, press and anyone that has anything to do with TEXAS COTTON! You can expect to hear from experts regarding cutting-edge insights on significant challenges and or ways in which issues can be resolved. A panel of experts will contribute to the conversation and as always, the FLOW MEETING provides an open forum to allow for audience participation. WE ARE SOLICITING YOUR QUESTIONS FOR OUR PANELISTS! The invocation will be given by TCA Past President and Senior Trader, Omnicotton, Inc., Plano, David Edwards. Azeez Abdul Syed, ACSA Chairman and President of the Cotton Division at OLAM International Limited, Richardson, will report on activities of the American Cotton Shippers AssociationKara Bishop, Director of Communications and Public Affairs, Plains Cotton Growers, Inc., Lubbock, will bring a Crop ReportInternational Supply Chain Manager - Cotton Platform at Louis Dreyfus Company, John-Michael Ruder, will moderate the Flow Panel. Panelists that are confirmed to speak are listed on the agenda.

! ! ! TEXAS TECH ATHLETICS is bringing back the AG GAME ! ! ! IT'S AG WEEK in LUBBOCK! The game will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., for a home game advantage against North Texas Mean Green!
